So my laptop has been crapped up... been having problems for awhile and they've only worsened over time.  Still, it's taken the threat of my warranty expiring soon to motivate me to finally call Dell.  That, and I'm actually not crazy busy with work lately.  Anyway, I'm anticipating that I'll have to ship out my system despite the fact that they keep making me run diagnostics to check the software so it's likely I'll be sans computer for a few weeks.  Just to let you know I'll be M.I.A for awhile.

Saturday I'm taking off for L.A.  I'm incredibly excited.  I'll be there from the 16th to the 24th and there will be plenty of people for me to see and catch up and hang out with.  It should be all good friends, good food, and good times.  Unfortunately before I go I have to take care of this Dell stuff and try to get my driver's license back since I got a speeding ticket on Saturday.  Freaking Bloomington.  Freaking ineptitude of the Clerk's Office of McLean County.  I want my license.  <sigh> I need a vacation.

But yeah... excited... just gotta survive the week...
